Our team and the individuals you'll support As a Support Practitioner, no two days are ever the same; you'll be part of a fun, friendly team who supports five amazing and unique individuals with profound learning disabilities and complex needs to live in their shared home. This is a hands-on role working closely with the individuals, ensuring that they feel safe, understood and empowered in their every day lives. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and SSSC yearly registration fees too! Shift Patterns We have various contracts available, including weekend only contracts. As we re dedicated to providing the best support possible, shifts patterns usually fall between the hours of 0645-2100 hours and waking nights (2100-0700 hours). Weekends and public holidays are worked on a rotational basis. Waking nights are paid at your normal hourly rate plus an additional 20 for every waking night worked. If you don't live in Strichen and are not a driver, we will need you to be mindful of the location of our service and be confident that you can travel for your shifts as there are very limited public transport links available that fit with our shift patterns.
