A front-of-house opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional to join a well-established, multi-franchise dealership team.
The Role:
A busy, customer-focused service department is seeking a skilled and personable Service Advisor to support day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will act as a key liaison between customers, service technicians, and the wider aftersales team—ensuring a high standard of service, efficient scheduling, and clear communication throughout the customer journey.
Key Responsibilities:
6. Greet all service customers professionally, creating a positive first impression
7. Manage and coordinate service bookings via telephone, email, and walk-ins
8. Provide clear and regular updates to customers regarding work in progress
9. Ensure all service documentation, invoicing, and records are processed accurately and in line with brand and company procedures
10. Collaborate closely with technicians, Service Advisors, and the Service Manager to maintain smooth daily operations
11. Uphold high levels of customer satisfaction in line with industry standards and internal policies
12. Participate in manufacturer training to stay current on processes, systems, and service standards
13. Contribute to achieving departmental performance targets, including service plans and customer satisfaction metrics
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
14. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first approach
15. The ability to stay calm, organised, and professional in a fast-paced setting
16. High attention to detail and confidence managing administrative processes
17. A collaborative, solutions-focused attitude
18. A full UK Driving Licence
