This is a full-time Monday to Friday role, working across a diverse range of clinical wards, with an immediate start available. The contract is ongoing and ideal for a pharmacist confident in hospital clinical duties. Key Role Details: Role: Locum Band 8a Clinical Pharmacist Location: NHS Hospital - Worcestershire Start Date: ASAP Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm (no weekends) Contract Length: Ongoing Hourly Rate: �33-�36 per hour (depending on experience) Agency: Hunter AHP Clinical Areas Covered May Include: General Medicine Surgery Elderly Care Respiratory Acute Admissions Unit (AAU) Short Stay / Discharge Wards You'll join a well-structured pharmacy team and work alongside fellow pharmacists, technicians, and ward staff to deliver high-quality medicines optimisation and patient-focused care. Responsibilities: Deliver clinical pharmacy services to a range of inpatient wards Conduct medicines reconciliation, clinical screening, and discharge planning Liaise with multidisciplinary teams to support safe and effective prescribing Ensure adherence to local formulary and NHS trust policies Contribute to audits, training, and quality improvement initiatives Candidate Requirements: GPhC-registered Pharmacist (essential) Significant NHS hospital experience (Band 7 or 8a level) Strong clinical knowledge across a variety of acute and general ward settings Able to work independently and as part of a wider team Full Monday to Friday availability Why Join via Hunter AHP?
