Role & Responsibilities
* Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes to maximise efficiency and quality.
* Monitor production performance and identify areas for improvement.
* Troubleshoot production issues and implement effective solutions.
* Collaborate with design, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
* Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Support the introduction of new products into production.
* Analyse data and prepare reports to support decision‑making.
* Provide video analysis of best working practices that operators on the shop floor can follow and adhere to.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field is a bonus.
* Proven experience working as a Production, Manufacturing, or Process Engineer in a production or manufacturing environment is desirable.
* Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement techniques.
* Ability to provide training and development for operators on the shop floor and input working practices to be followed and adhered to.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
