Role Description
The Technical Development Manager – Export & Training, reports to the Group Head of R&D and is responsible for providing technical support to export markets and developing a standardized approach to technical training across the Group.
This is a new role that will evolve over time, aligned with our 3-year strategic roadmap. The role will focus on the following priorities:
* Year 1: Support and develop the US market and key international customers; develop the roadmap for standardizing technical training across the Group, working with SMEs in each Division.
* Year 2: Expand support to other international customers and develop the Prism Healthcare Training Academy.
* Year 3 & Ongoing: Maintain export relationships and continue developing the Training Academy.
Essential Duties
* Build trusted relationships and provide expert technical support to international customers based on business priorities.
* Develop technical roadmaps for customers by providing technical expertise.
* Act as a key technical liaison between Commercial and Operational Teams to deliver excellent customer service.
* Create a roadmap through current state / future state gap analysis of technical training support.
* Collaborate with Divisional SMEs to establish a uniform training package.
* Travel internationally up to 20% of the time.

Education & Experience (Knowledge & Skills)
* Qualified Engineer with a strong mechanical/electrical background.
* Practical, hands-on technical and training support experience.
* Knowledge of compliance and approval processes for NPD.
* Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize.
* Effective communicator capable of explaining complex topics to non-financial management.
