Where will you be working?
This role will be within our Transmission and Renewables team in Wales and South West England. We design, build and commission substations at voltages up to and including 400kV. Our teams construct and maintain transmission lines and substations, ensuring the efficient and reliable delivery of electricity.
Step into a Site Foreman role where you're trusted to keep the site running smoothly, support your team and make sure work is delivered safely, on time and to a high standard. You'll be the go‑to person on the ground, keeping everyone informed, organised and working together.
What You'll Do
Lead and support the site team day‑to‑day
Keep safety, quality and environmental standards on track
Coordinate labour, materials and subcontractors
Monitor progress, solve problems and report accurately
Maintain site records and documentation
Drive a positive, proactive site culture
What You'll Bring
SSSTS, CSCS/CPCS, First Aid, HSG47, Temporary Works Supervisor
National Grid Competent Person status
5+ years in transmission/distribution and 2+ years supervising
Comfortable with drawings, MS Office and site documentation
Strong communicator with solid people skills
Bonus: NVQ6+, Lift Supervisor, extra civils experience
