The Vacancy
Our HR team has an exciting opportunity for a skilled analyst to work as a pivotal part of the team.
Reporting into the People PMO Manager, this individual will provide analytical support to HR business partners, the HR director, and senior stakeholders including the board.
The primary focus of this role is transforming how we provide people management information (MI), moving from manual Excel-based reporting to automated PowerBI solutions. This role is key to delivering the people strategy by providing live, insightful data to inform decision-making.
The HR Analyst will produce accurate data analysis, dashboards, and reports for various settings including board meetings, roadshows, and external events. The role involves routine MI reporting and complex, ad-hoc reporting requiring creative solutions.
This role offers exposure to generalist and strategic HR activities, working closely with the HR Coordinator to execute core processes such as talent and succession planning, salary reviews, PDR, employee engagement, and organizational change. The analyst acts as a link between the Construction Group (c1700 employees) and the HR shared service, ensuring high standards of data accuracy and governance.
We seek a highly organized, solution-focused, pragmatic, and driven individual with excellent technical analytics skills. Versatility and adaptability are essential to manage a varied workload, multi-task, and meet deadlines. Collaboration and teamwork are vital to success.
To Be Successful In The Role You Will Have
* Previous experience as an HR Analyst or in a similar analytical role
* Advanced PowerBI skills
* Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
* Knowledge of HR processes
* Knowledge of HR systems (experience with iTrent is advantageous)
* Generalist HR knowledge and/or CIPD qualifications are a plus
This position is part of a national team and can be based at any regional office, with occasional travel to London and other locations. It offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining home and office work.
