What We’re Looking For Experience working with children in a primary school or similar educational setting. A positive, patient approach with a genuine commitment to pupil wellbeing and progress. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families. Flexibility to support a range of learning needs across the class. Reliability, enthusiasm, and a proactive attitude to supporting teaching and learning. A relevant qualification such as Level 2 or Level 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning (desirable but not essential). Your Responsibilities Support the class teacher in delivering inspiring, engaging, and inclusive lessons. Provide classroom and small-group support to help pupils access their learning. Assist in preparing teaching materials and maintaining a positive, organised learning environment. Encourage pupil confidence, independence, and positive behaviour.
