Contract Inside IR35 PAYE- Hybrid
cer Financial are working alongside a bank based in the City of London. They are seeking a Technology Risk & Resilience Specialist – VP to work with them on a contract.
The Technology Risk and Resilience Specialist will act as Resilience Risk and Controls, Policies and Procedures lead, providing expertise, input, and support for the delivery of the Technology Resilience function. This includes defining processes, frameworks, and training to embed the outcomes of ongoing programs.
Responsibilities include:
* Deliver quick wins by Mar ‘24, such as clarifying roles and responsibilities at L1 and L2 process and control levels, reviewing risk and metrics.
* Refine and consolidate technology risk and issues communication channels, implement first-line risk foundation training in London and EMEA, collaborating with second line.
* Review and enhance existing IT processes and controls, consolidating into a single framework and augmenting as needed.
* Define technology policies and standards supporting technology operations in compliance with regional regulations.
* Develop an Information Technology Resilience framework focused on Business Resilience integration, emphasizing secure technology enabling of the business.
* Coordinate with NA and EMEA regions on shared services and processes, liaising with teams outside IT such as TPRM, Data Management, and Information Security to ensure alignment.
Ideal candidate will have:
* Experience with Technology Risk and Resilience Frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO27001, COBIT, ITIL) and regulatory frameworks (Bank of England, FCA/PRA). European regulations are advantageous.
* Skills in risk management, control mapping, and performance metrics.
* Expertise in controls design, implementation, and assurance techniques.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
