Newborn Hearing Screening Programme Coordinator

We are recruiting for a Newborn Hearing Screening Programme Coordinator who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
The post holder will co-ordinate the National Newborn Hearing Screening Programme.

Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will oversee the Newborn screening service, evaluating at appropriate intervals, feeding progress to Clinicians, Public Health England and other Health Professionals.
You will lead the programme, working in partnership with other agencies in the development of an effective screening programme.
The post holder will undertake the day to day running of the programme, promotion the principles of Family Friendly Hearing Services for children.
Additionally, you will maintain an organised working environment in the Hearing Screening team.

Qualifications / Training
* Completed ECA NHSP
* Completed Level 3 Health and Social Care Diploma

* Ability to understand the process and methodology of the hearing screening test and its implication
* Service monitoring and evaluation
* Ability to think strategically

Knowledge
* Knowledge of Excel, S4H reporting and general IT packages

* Experience and evidence of engagement around equality, diversity and inclusion issues in relation to policy, service development and service delivery in respect of both services to users and the management of staff
