Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of M&A to join a leading global professional services firm in London. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior M&A professional with a passion for the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) sector, specifically focusing on the fast-evolving tech landscape.
In this role, you will lead and manage M&A transactions from inception to completion, advising on strategic M&A opportunities, deal structuring, and post-deal integration, with a particular focus on technology companies. You will work closely with senior leadership to support clients in navigating complex transactions and driving growth within the TMT sector.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead M&A advisory services in the TMT sector, with a focus on technology-driven transactions.
* Identify and evaluate strategic opportunities, providing clients with tailored M&A solutions to achieve their business objectives.
* Manage the end-to-end M&A process, including deal sourcing, financial analysis, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and post-deal integration.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, investors, and external advisors.
* Provide strategic advice on market trends, deal structures, and potential risks within the tech industry.
* Mentor and develop junior team members, sharing your expertise and knowledge across the practice.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver comprehensive M&A strategies and solutions.
Requirements:
* Proven track record in M&A, ideally within the TMT sector with a strong focus on technology.
* At least 8-10 years of experience in M&A advisory, with a deep understanding of the technology market and the dynamics shaping the sector.
* Strong financial acumen with experience in financial modeling, valuation, and deal structuring.
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage senior client relationships.
* Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing deal teams and mentoring junior professionals.
* A strategic mindset and ability to think creatively in solving complex deal-related issues.
* A relevant degree, such as in Business, Finance, or Economics. Additional qualifications such as an MBA or CFA are a plus.
