Overview
Cover Supervisor. TeacherActive are currently recruiting for a Cover Supervisor for work in mainstream secondary schools in the Mansfield area, Nottinghamshire, for an immediate start. This Cover Supervisor role is a role that encompasses all year groups from years 7 to 11, up to year 13 in schools that have 6th form sections. The role of Cover Supervisor is a vital and valued role within the school, helping to ensure continuity of provision for students across all age groups.
Responsibilities
* The role of Cover Supervisor will be in the Secondary phase, and is to manage the children in the classroom and ensure they are working on the tasks set.
* The lesson plans will be set by the teacher you would be covering and all work will be handed to you by your line manager.
Qualifications and experience
* Experience working with children aged between 3-18 (tutoring, mentoring, 1-1, coaching etc.).
* Good classroom management skills.
* Excitement about working with children.
* Ability to be proactive and get involved.
