This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring teachers to gain valuable classroom experience prior to undertaking teacher training. About the Role As a Cover Supervisor, you will step into the classroom in the absence of the regular teacher, delivering pre-set work and ensuring a positive learning environment is maintained. This role does not require lesson planning or marking, making it ideal for graduates looking to build confidence and develop classroom management skills. You will: Supervise whole classes during teacher absences Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies Support students in completing set work Gain hands-on experience across a variety of subjects and year groups This role offers flexibility, with opportunities ranging from day-to-day supply to short-term and long-term placements, allowing you to build experience that suits your availability and career goals.
