Technical Lead – UI / React & ServiceNow Service Portal
Type: Full-Time
Location: Hybrid/Flexible
We are seeking a Technical Lead with strong expertise in React and hands‑on experience with ServiceNow Service Portal to lead the delivery of high‑quality, scalable front‑end solutions.
You will own UI technical direction, review and set coding standards, mentor developers, and contribute hands‑on to complex React and Service Portal development. You’ll work closely with architects, designers, and product teams to modernise ServiceNow user experiences.
What You’ll Do
1. Lead UI/React and ServiceNow Service Portal development and architecture
2. Define front‑end standards, patterns, and reusable components
3. Perform code reviews and drive engineering best practices
4. Develop and customise Service Portal widgets, themes, and layouts
5. Build modern, responsive React components and optimise performance
6. Guide teams through Agile delivery and technical decision‑making
What We’re Looking For
7. 6+ years’ experience in React / JavaScript / TypeScript
8. 2+ years in a technical leadership role
9. Hands‑on ServiceNow Service Portal experience
10. Strong REST API and UI integration experience
11. Excellent knowledge of HTML, CSS, accessibility, and responsive design
Nice to Have
12. Scoped Apps or ServiceNow back‑end scripting
13. UI testing frameworks and build tools knowledge
14. Exposure to ServiceNow modules (e.g. CSM)
