Exciting Opportunity: People Operations Coordinator



Role: People Operations Coordinator


Hours: 9:00- 18:00pm / x1 day in the office- Thursdays!


Salary: £36,- £40,


Contract: 12 month Maternity Contract


Location; Farringdon


Are you ready to embark on a rewarding journey in the world of People Operations? Our client, a vibrant and community-focused organisation based in Farringdon, is on the lookout for a People Operations Coordinator to join their dynamic team! This is a fixed-term contract role for 12 months, with an annual salary ranging from £36, to £40,.


About the Role:


As the People Operations Coordinator, you will be at the heart of creating an exceptional employee experience. Your responsibilities will include:


People Operations Administration:


- Co-managing the shared People inbox, responding to queries with speed and empathy.
- Supporting general HR administration tasks, including preparing contracts and offer letters.
- Maintaining accurate employee records across HRIS systems (Workday).
- Owning the onboarding experience to ensure new starters feel welcomed and prepared.
- Assisting with offboarding tasks and exit surveys.


Payroll & Benefits Support:


- Supporting monthly payroll administration by maintaining accurate data.
- Helping manage benefits administration to ensure seamless updates for new hires.


Data & Reporting:


- Updating and maintaining People data across internal systems.
- Supporting the People Analyst in generating routine reports to enhance data accuracy.


Projects & Process Improvement:


- Identifying opportunities for process improvements in collaboration with the People Operations Manager.
- Coordinating People-led events and initiatives as you grow in the role.

1. Experience in HR or a strong interest in starting a career in People Operations.



2. A process-minded approach with a knack for improving workflows.

3. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a friendly tone.

4. High attention to detail and superb organisational skills.

5. A collaborative mindset and desire to support a dynamic team.

6. Curiosity about generalist HR and best practices in People Ops.
