Description
Prepare accurate financial reports in accordance with accounting standards.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and regulations.
Support month-end and year-end financial close processes.
Manage reconciliations and maintain general ledger accuracy.
Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights and analysis.
Assist with audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
Identify and implement improvements to financial processes.
Provide support for financial planning and budgeting activities.Profile
A successful Financial Accountant should have:
Professional accounting qualifications (newly qualified) or be working towards completion with study support available.
Strong balance sheet / financial controls knowledge.
Strong understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles.
Experience in the Manufacturing industry or knowledge is advantageous
Proficiency in financial software and tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Able to commute to their offices 5 days a week in Nottingham.Job Offer
Competitive salary between £45,000 and £50,000 per annum.
