This is a Monday to Friday role — a rare find in the logistics industry — giving you your weekends back. Shifts typically start from 5:00 am onwards. What you’ll do on a typical day: Supporting the driver with route navigation and ensuring timely, efficient deliveries Loading and unloading goods at various delivery points Verifying deliveries against Proof of Delivery (POD) documents and collecting customer signatures Acting as a banksman to guide vehicle movements when needed Communicating with customers face-to-face and via phone to provide excellent service Assisting at the depot with unloading and organizing empty containers What you need to succeed at GXO: A positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to start early Previous experience in a similar role is a plus, but not essential Strong verbal and written communication skills Flexibility with shift patterns and working hours Awareness of health and safety practices in a transport or logistics environment We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.
