Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated HGV Technician to join our maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) to ensure optimal performance and safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise a broad range of technical skills within a dynamic and professional environment. The position involves working with various makes and models of HGVs, and requires a proactive approach to vehicle maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive diagnostics on HGVs
Perform repairs and maintenance on heavy goods vehicles, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Utilise hand tools, power tools, to carry out repairs and modifications.
Maintain detailed records of work performed in accordance with company procedures.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair status or issues.
Requirements
Proven experience in vehicle maintenance specialising in HGVs or similar heavy vehicles.
Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience is essential.
Good organisational skills with attention to detail for record keeping.
Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards diagnostics and repairs.

Pay: £20.00-£25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 45 per week
