We are working with a fast-growing and innovative business who have recently secured new funding and are now looking to expand their finance function with the addition of a Newly Qualified Accountant. The person can come from any discipline - audit, tax, corporate finance, restructuring, etc. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, this role will play a key part in delivering high-quality financial reporting, ensuring statutory compliance, while strengthening internal controls, contributing to commercial projects, and supporting the ongoing development of the finance function. What We Offer £40,000£43,000 Bonus scheme Employer pension Health Cash Plan 28 days holiday stats Holiday purchase scheme buy up to 5 extra days Hybrid working Key Responsibilities Prepare statutory accounts and support year-end close, including group consolidations Maintain the general ledger and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations Prepare and submit VAT, corporation tax packs, and HMRC compliance returns Support FP&A activities including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis Produce cashflow reporting and rolling cashflow forecasts Maintain the fixed asset register, including depreciation and disposals Prepare management accounts, KPIs, and financial analysis for senior management Partner with operational teams to support financial planning and decision-making Act as primary contact for external auditors and audit deliverables Improve financial controls, processes, and reporting accuracy Support ad hoc finance projects and analytical tasks Who Were Looking For Qualified Accountant (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) Strong technical accounting knowledge High level of competency with accounting software and Excel Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills A diligent, proactive and detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced, growing environment Strong communication skills and confidence working with non-financial stakeholders Apply below or get in touch with Marc Norton at Artemis Human Capital for full details.
