Key Responsibilities Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons across the Year 3 curriculum Create a positive, inclusive, and well-structured classroom environment Use assessment data to track progress and plan targeted support Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all pupils, including SEND and EAL Promote positive behaviour, independence, and a love of learning Encourage pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and senior leaders Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress Contribute to staff meetings, CPD sessions, and whole-school initiatives Ensure safeguarding and child protection procedures are followed at all times The Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3 Demonstrate strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum Be organised, confident, and enthusiastic Have excellent classroom management and communication skills Be reflective, adaptable, and committed to professional development Show a strong commitment to inclusion, safeguarding, and pupil wellbeing The school is located in High Wycombe, with excellent transport links and a supportive local community.
