Description

The Group Operations Team sit in ‘AMPA Group Services’ and we are a team dedicated to enhancing the experience for all our colleagues, and clients alike. We are laser focused on providing diverse, quality, value driven support to all the teams across the group.



What you will be doing:

* Owning the complete Transformational Project and Change management life cycle from discovery through to completion and lessons learnt. Including but not limited to stakeholder analysis and management, communications planning, risk identification and management, budget management, document and change control etc.
* Manage all project and change related risks and issues to ensure we are, and will remain, working within safe boundaries for our data and records and deliver the best possible outcomes for colleagues and clients.
* Engage effectively with senior stakeholders across the organisation, demonstrating the ability to handle complex business landscape, influencing decision making, and tailor your approach and communications to address strategic priorities and navigate nuanced organisational dynamics.
* Collate lessons learned from projects and change and share them so that we can continuously improve our ways of working.
* Leading cross-departmental teams to deliver complex projects and transformational changes, including identifying the right people to bring together to ensure the success of any project.
* Overall responsibility for management of budgets associated with, projects and change pieces of work. Working closely with the relevant sponsor and Group finance team.
* Using the PMO templates, maintaining detailed accurate logs of actions, decision making, risk audits and mitigations and so on.
* Managing stakeholder relationships during the lifespan of project and transformational changes, always ensuring exceptional standards of communication both informally and formally by updating during meetings, Steering committees, project calls etc.
* Working with the Group PMO and Head of Service Excellence on managing and triaging incoming change requests
* Working closely with those leading on small change, to ensure processes are followed, and accurate documents and records are created and stored appropriately throughout the life span of a piece of work.
* Working closely with the Head of Service Excellence to drive high standards across the department when it comes to disciplines around file and record keeping.
* Working with the PMO more generally to improve processes with a view to being as aligned as possible with ‘Group Change’.
* Assist Head of Service Excellence and CPI Manager to review pipeline, assessing and allocating resource for projects and transformational change, and preparing the summary for decision making in the Senior Leadership Team.
* Ensure strategic alignment between transformation projects and continuous improvement initiatives through close collaboration with the Continuous Process Improvement Manager.
* Overall management and ownership of the team trackers for pipeline, live and completed projects and transformational change, using your skills and experience to improve this.
* Management of suppliers such as fitout firms, furniture providers, etc, to include RFP processes when appropriate, working with our procurement team.
* Working closely with the Responsible Business Team to continue to deliver our targets of 80% renewed, recycled or sustainably sourced furnishings in refit Programmes, projects and transformational change.
* Produce reports for the above, ensuring all activity across Group Operations teams which contribute to our responsible business targets are captured and represented.
* Weekly reporting to Head of Service Excellence, Group Operations Director and PMO on projects and transformational change progress. Reporting monthly to the AGS committee.
* Lead on the accurate recording of time spent on projects and transformational change, for the whole of the Group operations team. Liaising with the PMO where necessary to ensure efficiency and accuracy of record keeping.



What you will need:

Qualifications & Experience:
* Degree or APM/Prince2 qualification in a related field (or equivalent experience).
* +5 years of experience in a PM role
* Hands-on experience with workplace projects and transformational change
* Proficient with the formalities of projects, and transformational change management governance and working structures.
Preferred Certifications:
* APMQ or APMP or Prince2
Skills & Competencies:
* Confident working independently or with a team.
* Resilience, confidence and a positive attitude.
* Flexibility and solutions focused mindset.
* Ability to influence and engage with different stakeholders across a multilayered group.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Knowledge of building fitout projects would be a distinct benefit.
* Familiarity with legal practices would be an advantage.
Work Environment:
* This will require occasional evening or weekend work for project, and transformational change delivery.
* Must be able to visit sites across UK and offer flexibility in timings.
* The role requires someone who can pivot quickly geographically if needed.
