Job Title: Warehouse Operative - Part-Time (with scope to progress to a full-time role for suitable candidate)
Role Summary:
GE Production is a busy and growing events production company delivering high-end weddings, corporate events, and touring work. We're looking for a practical, reliable, and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team.
You’ll play a key role in making sure all AV gear is correctly prepared, well-maintained, and returned in good condition - keeping our events running smoothly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare gear for events based on kit lists and packing notes
* Test, charge, and clean equipment prior to dispatch
* Load and unload vans safely and efficiently
* De-prep and re-shelve equipment after return
Warehouse Organisation:
* Maintain clear and tidy storage areas
* Assist with stock control and flag missing/damaged items
* Label and organise flight cases and cables
Vehicle Assistance:
* Support with loading/unloading vans
* Ensuring company vehicles are kept in a presentable fashion
Team Support:
* Work closely with projects team to ensure show readiness
* Help train junior team members or freelancers if needed
Key Attributes:
* Dependable and self-motivated
* Physically confident (some heavy lifting required)
* Strong attention to detail and pride in doing things right
* Well organised
* Interest in live events or production is a plus
* Familiarity with AV gear also a plus (training provided if needed)
This role will begin part time on a 2-3 day per week basis. As the role develops, it is likely to turn into a full-time opportunity for the right candidate.
Evening/weekend work is not standard but occasional flexibility is helpful during peak periods.
Pay: £14-18 per hour based on experience. 12 hours per week contracted with overtime opportunities.
