* The successful candidate will be an Experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner who must possess a sound knowledge and experience in Operating Theatres.
* You must be organised, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You must be motivated and enthusiastic with a passion for high quality patient care, and the ability to work well under pressure and flexibly as part of a multi-disciplinary team
* Strive for the continuous improvements in the delivery of high-quality patient focused care.
* To have a clear understanding of how this post contributes to the achievement of the Trust’s vision and EXCEL values and behave in a way that reflects these.
* Assist in the provision of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients in the perioperative environment.
* Being sensitive to our patients and staff needs for courtesy, dignity and privacy and always ensuring a friendly environment.
* As skills develop, manage the Theatre area in the absence of the Team Leaders, maintain safe staffing levels, ensuring that polices are always adhered to, and the Senior Theatre team remain updated
* Assists the Professional Development Team in the management of preceptorship of newly qualified staff, return to practice staff and the mentorship of Nursing /ODP students and theatre support workers.
