We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Early Years Room Leader to join our nurturing and highly motivated nursery team. Due to internal progression, our current Baby Room Leader will soon be stepping up to cover the Nursery Manager during maternity leave and then move into the Deputy Manager position once the Manager returns. This creates a wonderful opening for a dedicated professional to take on the Baby Room permanently as our new Early Years Room Leader.
We are seeking an Early Years Room Leader who is passionate about providing exceptional care and high-quality learning experiences for babies. You will be joining a warm, supportive setting where children are at the heart of everything we do, and where your leadership will play a key role in shaping the room environment and supporting the team.
In this role, the Early Years Room Leader will be responsible for overseeing the daily running of the baby room, ensuring routines are followed, supporting children’s development, and maintaining a safe and engaging environment that reflects the needs of each child. You will also work closely with parents, forming strong partnerships built on trust and open communication.
As an Early Years Room Leader, you will lead by example—guiding and supporting your team, embedding best practice, and ensuring the nursery’s policies and procedures are upheld at all times. You will have a strong understanding of the EYFS, safeguarding, key-person responsibilities, and high-quality teaching and learning.
The Early Years Room Leader will contribute to planning, observations, assessments, and creating enriching experiences that promote early development, curiosity, and joy in learning. You will bring creativity, confidence, and a nurturing approach to both children and staff.
Our ideal Early Years Room Leader will have previous experience working with babies, strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a warm, positive attitude. You will be a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering the best possible outcomes for children
