Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Contract Type: Temporary - Rolling Contract
Pay Rate - £12.81ph
Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Truck (FLT) Driver to join our client on a rolling temporary contract. This role will primarily involve forklift truck operation, supporting the safe movement, storage, and dispatch of heavy items within the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
* Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely and efficiently
* Loading and unloading heavy items from vehicles
* Moving and placing heavy items into racking locations
* Retrieving machines from racking for dispatch
* Ensuring all loads are handled carefully and stored securely
* Following site health and safety procedures at all times
* Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Role Details
* The role is primarily FLT driving
* Minimal picking/packing duties, if any
* Handling large items, requiring careful and precise forklift operation
Requirements
* Valid Counterbalance FLT licence/certification (within the last three years)
* Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a warehouse environment
* Comfortable handling large or bulky items
* Good awareness of warehouse health and safety practices
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
