INTERIM to PERMANENT CHIEF NURSING OFFICER OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a highly skilled and visionary Chief Nursing Officer to lead the clinical operations of a flagship facility for one of New England’s leading health systems. The ideal candidate will have a passion for advancing nursing practice and improving patient outcomes, as well as a strong track record of success in healthcare leadership. Chief Nursing Officer Responsibilities & Duties
* Provide strategic and operational leadership for nursing services across the organization
* Partner with other healthcare leaders to develop and implement policies and procedures that improve patient outcomes
* Ensure that nursing practices are evidence-based and in compliance with all regulatory requirements
* Facilitate the professional development of nursing staff, including training and mentorship opportunities
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective and efficient patient care
* Represent the organization in healthcare community and industry events and initiatives
Chief Nursing Officer Qualifications & Skills
* Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration
* At least 10 years of nursing experience, with 5 years in a leadership role
* Experience with budget management and financial planning
* Proven track record of improving patient care outcomes
* Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
* Experience in strategic planning and organizational development
* Demonstrated ability to implement new technologies and care methodologies
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Certification in Nursing Administration or similar credential
* Master's degree in Nursing or Healthcare Administration preferred
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare leadership, including experience as a Chief Nursing Officer or similar role
* Strong understanding of nursing practices and regulatory requirements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to lead and motivate a large, multi-disciplinary team
* Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous quality improvement
