This opportunity is at a leading Legal 100 law firm with a strong national and international reputation, who are seeking a Corporate Managing Associate circa 10 PQE + to join their Bristol office. The corporate team advise on complex corporate transactions from entrepreneurial start-ups and regional owner-managed businesses through to large corporates, PLCs and international private equity houses.

The Role..........
As a Corporate Managing Associate, you will:
* Advise on the full spectrum of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, investments, corporate disposals, re-organisations and day-to-day corporate governance.
* Work closely with strategic corporates, private equity funds and portfolio companies, General Counsel and in-house M&A teams.
* Contribute to the delivery of bespoke business transaction services supporting multi-jurisdictional M&A, growth strategies, buy-and-build programmes, restructurings, divestments and investment pivots.
* Lead transactions with appropriate autonomy while supporting and supervising junior lawyers.
* Have the opportunity to work directly with clients in a quasi “in-house” capacity, including on secondment assignments where appropriate.
About You.........
* At least 10 years’ post-qualification experience in corporate law, with a strong background in transactional work.
* Experience in private equity transactions and advising on M&A, particularly buy-and-build and strategic bolt-on acquisitions.
* An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to build a niche practice area or develop your own client following (though not essential, as the firm has a strong existing client base).
