Vehicle Technician Required in Epsom, Surrey for Car Dealership

Duties of the Vehicle Technician:
9. Conduct routine vehicle servicing and maintenance in line with manufacturer standards
10. Diagnose and repair faults on both passenger and commercial vehicles
11. Assist with mechanical and electrical repairs as needed
12. Provide technical advice and support to the service team
13. Ensure safety standards and environmental regulations are adhered to
14. Support the workshop with vehicle inspections and diagnostics
15. Maintain high levels of customer service and professionalism
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician:
16. Full valid driving licence for at least six months
17. NVQ Level 3 City & Guilds or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, with at least two years post-apprenticeship experience
18. Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within a main dealership environment is highly desirable
19. MOT testing qualification is preferred but not essential
20. Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
21. Willingness to develop skills further through training including Electric Vehicle Maintenance
22. Ability to work flexibly, including overtime and a rota basis for Saturday mornings
23. Proof of right to work in the UK and work without restrictions
