Job Description
The School of Creative Industries is running a 15-week Film & Screen Saturday Club for local school and college students.
We are recruiting a lead tutor to deliver these interactive sessions. You will contribute to the administration, delivery, and support of the Saturday Club in collaboration with Faculty colleagues. Responsibilities include organizing session facilities, materials, travel, events, venues, logistics, monitoring engagement and attendance, and conducting impact evaluations.
You should have a high level of film production competence and experience working with young people in an informal education setting. The role involves delivering practical, interactive sessions and culminating in a final show in London.
The Club is hosted within the University’s Screen School, and you will be expected to be on campus approximately one day per week for administrative and preparatory work, in addition to scheduled Saturday sessions.
Compliance with university procedures and safeguarding policies is required, including a DBS check.
This position is based at the University of Wolverhampton, School of Creative Industries, Faculty of Arts, Business and Social Sciences.
