Responsibilities
* Manage a mixed caseload of employment work, including advocacy, and provide HR employment law advice to key clients.
* Conduct advocacy at Employment Tribunals (including full merits hearings).
* Assist other members of the team with their caseloads as appropriate.
* Draft and prepare letters, e‑mails, documents, tribunal responses, bundles, witness statements and reports.
* Draft articles and legal updates.
* Assist with business development initiatives including training and networking.
* Work in accordance with client and internal SLAs.
* Work in accordance with Weightmans’ values and procedures.
* Achieve set financial and chargeable targets.
* Additional duties and responsibilities may apply.
About You
* 1-3 years PQE.
* Prior employment experience is essential.
* Advocacy experience would be preferable or a keen interest in developing advocacy skills.
* Excellent teamwork skills.
* Strong academics and technical knowledge.
* Excellent IT and typing skills.
* Excellent time management and organisation skills.
* Ability to multi‑task and prioritise.
* Ability to work to strict deadlines and targets.
