* Collect, analyze, cleanse, and validate data obtained from drainage surveys, CCTV inspections, sensor networks, and operational maintenance records to support AI model development.
* Develop and execute validation and evaluation frameworks to assess the accuracy, reliability, and performance of AI models and intelligent decision-support systems.
* Apply Quality Assurance (QA) methodologies to verify that AI systems, predictive models, and software applications perform according to defined technical and operational requirements.
* Utilize programming languages such as Python and AI development tools to support research activities, model testing, data analysis, and automation of validation processes.
* Support the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions for defect detection, blockage prediction, asset condition assessment, drainage mapping, and predictive maintenance.
* Document research methodologies, experimental results, validation reports, technical findings, datasets, and project outcomes in accordance with organizational and industry standards.
* Collaborate with AI researchers, software developers, drainage engineers, project manager, and business analysts to ensure successful project delivery and innovation outcomes.
* Contribute to the establishment and maintenance of quality standards, testing frameworks, and best practices for AI research and software development activities.
* Undertake ongoing professional development, including specialized training in AI, data analytics, machine learning, quality assurance methodologies, and drainage industry applications.

Structured Training

* Artificial Intelligence applications and data analysis.
* Quality Assurance and AI model validation techniques.
* Drainage and wastewater infrastructure operations.
* CCTV drainage inspection analysis.
* Environmental and infrastructure data research methodologies.
* Industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices within the UK drainage sector.

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
* Proven experience as a Software Tester or similar role. Familiarity with various testing methodologies, including manual and automated testing.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python) is a plus.
* Experience in AI technologies is a plus.
