Your new role
As an Interim Senior Estates Surveyor, you'll play a key role in managing and advising on corporate property, providing senior-level estate expertise across asset management, landlord and tenant matters, lease negotiations, acquisition and disposals. You will work closely with service departments, legal teams and external consultants to ensure that the estate is legallypliant, operationally efficient and aligned to organisational objectives.
1. Management of a diverse local authority property portfolio, including operational,mercial andmunity assets.
2. Providing professional advice on landlord and tenant issues, lease events, rent reviews and renewals.
3. Supporting disposal and rationalisation projects.
4. Ensuring that estates activity aligns withernance, best value and public-sectorpliance requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
5. Proven experience working as a Senior Estates Surveyor, ideally within a local authority or a public sector environment.
6. Excellent technical knowledge across landlord & tenant law, property management and estates strategy.
7. Ability to operate confidential in an interim position, managing workloads independently.
8. MRICS membership or a degree in estates management, real estate, or similar.
