We have a fantastic opportunity for an established Pre-Construction Director to join our Advanced Manufacturing Construction team on a national basis, with a hub based in our Sunderland office.
As a Senior Business Lead in Wates Construction, this role offers a perfect opportunity for the successful candidate to take full accountability in shaping, growing, and developing the pre-construction strategy, supported by the newly formed leadership team.
We are seeking a work-winning pre-construction specialist who can embrace the Wates Pre-Construction Transformation Programme from pre-bid through to the successful conversion of the second stage.
The successful candidate will align with the business plan and ensure compliance with governance and processes to enable the business unit to meet sales targets. Additionally, support for business development activities to ensure a future pipeline and active participation in external networking are required.

Key requirements include:

* Experience in winning bids on projects valued between 50-500 million
* A portfolio demonstrating successful bids and growing sales
