Overview
Berry Recruitment are seeking a highly motivated and conscientious Audit Manager to lead and manage audit engagements across a diverse portfolio of clients for a large establishment based in King's Lynn who are expanding.
This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality audit services.
Location: King\'s Lynn | Type: Full-Time
Salary: £33,000 - £38,000 per annum (DOE)
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage multiple audit engagements from planning through to completion
* Supervise, mentor, and develop audit staff and seniors
* Review financial statements and audit reports for accuracy and compliance
* Ensure audits are conducted in accordance with applicable standards
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor
* Identify areas of risk and recommend improvements to internal controls
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
* Monitor budgets, timelines, and resource allocation for audit projects
* Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes
Qualifications & Skills
* ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification
* Audit experience required
* Strong knowledge of audit methods and accounting standards
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proven ability to manage teams and complex projects
* High level of integrity and attention to detail
* Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite
