Specialty Doctor in Community Paediatrics
We have an exciting opportunity for x 2 Specialty Doctors to join our vibrant community paediatrics team in Bexley. The post holder's will be part of Oxleas Bexley Community Health Services, community paediatric medical team aiming to deliver a high-quality community child health service to children and families.
The post holder's will have an interest in safeguarding or be encouraged to develop one or more areas of special clinical interests. Roles and responsibilities in the department are flexible and are usually rotated between the team.
Responsibilities
* The post holder's may be required to work at any of the Trust’s sites in line with service needs including the provision of cover where necessary.
* The post holder's must at all times carry out her/his responsibilities with due regard to the Trust’s Equal Opportunity Policy.
* The post holder's will be expected to be capable of assessing children referred to our service and seen in secondary clinics with appropriate training and support.
* Job Limitations: at no time should the post holder work at a level outside their level of competence. Any concerns should be discussed immediately with the line manager. All staff have a responsibility to inform those supervising their duties, it they are not competent to perform a duty.
* This is an outline job description and should not be regarded as an inflexible specification. Priorities may change in line with service needs and new duties introduced after consultation with the post holder's.
