Aspire People are currently recruiting experienced and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support a range of excellent primary schools across Rugby. We have a number of full-time and part-time opportunities available for a September start, with positions across EYFS, Key Stage 1 (KS1), and Key Stage 2 (KS2).
This is an exciting opportunity for passionate individuals who are committed to supporting children's learning and development in a classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide classroom support across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, assisting teachers with daily activities and lesson delivery.
Support pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis, including those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL).
Assist in preparing learning materials and maintaining an engaging classroom environment.
Promote positive behaviour, wellbeing, and inclusion within the classroom.
Contribute to pupil assessments and work collaboratively with teaching staff and school leadership.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
2 years experience working in a primary school setting, ideally within EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
Confidence and flexibility to support different year groups where required.
Experience working with pupils with SEN and/or EAL is highly desirable.
A proactive, professional, and nurturing approach to supporting children's education.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Essential Requirements:
A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service, or a willingness to obtain one.
Up-to-date Safeguarding Training, or a willingness to complete this before starting.
