Developing power sector business remotely for an innovative engineering technology company known for solving challenging problems across various industries including renewable energy, security, medical, transportation, aerospace, and defense.

The role

The Field Sales Engineer Power will be responsible for expanding the customer base for the Power product range within the UK, creating demand, and generating profitable sales in a defined geographic region. Specific responsibilities include:

* Identify new customers and target markets for the power products
* Develop business leads with new and existing customers
* Maintain understanding of power products and their applications
* Set and pursue account and business plans with management
* Attend regular meetings to discuss sales progress
* Present product benefits to customers
* Negotiate and manage contracts and orders
* Keep sales information updated in company systems
* Provide sales reports and feedback
* Participate in training to stay current
* Manage administrative duties such as scheduling, reporting, and database maintenance

You will have

A successful candidate will possess:

* A business, engineering, or electronics degree or equivalent experience
* Knowledge of Power products and applications
* Experience with sales techniques and product management
* 2-3 years of electronics circuit/system design experience (preferred)
* Strong numeracy and commercial skills
* Excellent communication skills
* Relationship-building abilities
* Proficiency in MS Office
* Valid driving license
* Professional appearance and willingness to travel within the UK
