Marketing Manager/Head of Marketing
Abingdon, Oxfordshire (On‑Site - 5‑days, please only apply if feasible)
£50,000 - £70,000 (DOE) + Profit Share
A well‑established international engineering and manufacturing business is seeking a hands‑on Head of Marketing to take ownership of its global marketing function.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced marketing professional who enjoys combining strategic thinking with day‑to‑day delivery. Working closely with senior leadership, you will drive brand visibility, support commercial growth, and oversee marketing activity across multiple international markets.
The Role
This is a standalone position with responsibility for the full marketing mix, including:
- Creating and managing catalogues, brochures, artwork, and marketing collateral
- Producing articles, press releases, case studies, and technical content
- Managing website content, SEO, email marketing, and social media activity
- Planning and coordinating exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events
- Managing external agencies, designers, developers, and marketing suppliers
- Supporting brand development and ensuring consistency across all channels
- Monitoring campaign performance and providing marketing insights to senior stakeholders
About You
We're looking for a commercially minded marketer who is comfortable operating at both a strategic and tactical level.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience in a senior marketing or Head of Marketing position
- A background within engineering, manufacturing, industrial, or technical B2B sectors
- Strong content creation and communications experience
- Experience managing websites, digital marketing activity, and exhibitions
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to simplify technical information
- A proactive, self‑sufficient approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves
