About The Role

This is a fixed term position until September 2025 created to cover a short term business need.

We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and proactive person to the Faculty’s Admissions team to help deliver an excellent and customer-focused admissions service for the University’s prospective students.

The post holder will be responsible for supporting the admissions and selection process for clinical courses within the Faculty portfolio, in line with Admissions policy and best practice.

The role involves giving expert advice on all admissions related enquiries, processing applications, engaging with prospective students, and working with colleagues from across the faculty to ensure that all processes are followed to keep partner health boards and funding agencies informed on student numbers, as well as supporting the admissions and selection process.

Welsh Language Skills

The Welsh language level required for this role is Level 1 - A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
