The successful candidate will collaborate with HR teams to understand their data needs, develop data solutions, and provide actionable recommendations.
Key Tasks:
Data Collection and Cleaning:
1. Collect existing data from various sources, in various formats and with varying degrees of alignment & accuracy.
2. Use your skills, experience and technology to validate, cleanse and align the collected data, taking steps to ensure an efficient process in case of repetition.
Data Analysis:
3. Use statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in relation to core HR KPI’s, utilising data mining techniques to provide insight beyond the obvious.
4. Help develop predictive models, assist in efforts to increase the utilisation of workforce planning & explore further the use of data fusion tools & AI in the role of People Analytics.
Data Visualization:
5. Create clear, compelling and concise data visualisations (e.g., charts, graphs, dashboards) to communicate findings effectively and help less data literate colleagues navigate regular KPIs and potentially complex ad-hoc analysis.
Reporting:
6. Support reporting processes with structured, precise reports utilising Workday, aiming to become the ‘go-to’ person for People Data reporting within the team.
7. Fully utilise new & existing reports to provide data-driven insights to support strategic HR initiatives.
Requirements:
8. Experience of working within a People/HR or Business Intelligence function, with an exposure of People Data is a must
9. Experience in a Data-Driven Organization, working in a culture that values data-driven decision-making.
10. Experience in Data Analysis and Reporting, creating insightful reports and dashboards
11. Experience in working collaboratively to overcome obstacles relating to complex data, stakeholders or technology processes.
Technical Skills:
12. Comprehensive knowledge of & experience in delivering of HR metrics & KPIs
13. Solid knowledge of data analysis tools, specifically a proficiency in data analysis, utilising spreadsheets & accompanying tools (Pivot Tables, Macros, complex formulae)
14. Strong understanding of statistical concepts and methods, specifically around HR metrics & KPIs.
15. An awareness of data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and / or ability in building slide decks.
16. Google suite / especially Google Sheets and Workday would be a specific advantage but not essential
