At Procurae Group, we are recruiting an Assistant Manager to support our Registered Manager in delivering a safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led service for individuals with complex needs.This is a hybrid role, with a combination of office-based and home working. Travel across North Yorkshire is required, so a full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential. The position also includes participation in the on-call rota and, when needed, covering shifts within our 24/7 service. Working closely with the Registered Manager, you will help ensure the smooth running of the service by fostering a positive and collaborative working culture aligned with Procurae Group’s vision, mission, and values. You will also support, coach, and mentor the management team—promoting best practice informed by sector guidance, regulatory standards, company policy, and business processes to enable Team Leaders and Clinical Lead Nurses to excel in their roles. Key Responsibilities & Required Skills Support the Registered Manager in the daily operation of the service, and oversee service delivery to a high standard in their absence. Oversee rota management in collaboration with the Business Administrator and Registered Manager. Lead on risk assessments and care planning, working alongside Team Leaders and clinical colleagues to support individuals with clinical needs. Manage and take responsibility for staff performance, development, and training. Complete assessments for new referrals and undertake review visits within the community. Ensure infection control standards are met across individual support packages. Deliver staff supervisions and lead recruitment initiatives when required. Carry out additional tasks necessary to maintain a high-quality domiciliary care service as directed by the Registered Manager. Uphold regulatory standards and ensure full compliance with company policies and CQC requirements. Provide leadership and performance management to the staff team as agreed with the Registered Manager.
