Are you an experienced Deputy Manager or Senior Practitioner ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a Trainee Homes Manager to join our dedicated team in a children's residential home based in Kings Norton.
This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to grow into a Registered Manager role, with full support and guidance from an experienced senior leadership team.

Role Responsibilities:
* Support the Registered Manager in day-to-day operations of the home
* Lead and supervise the care team to ensure high standards of care and safeguarding
* Develop leadership and management skills in preparation for registration with Ofsted
* Promote a positive, nurturing, and structured environment for children aged 8–18
* Build effective relationships with professionals, families, and regulatory bodies
About You:
* Experience working in a children's residential setting (minimum 2 years)
* Currently a Deputy Manager, Team Leader, or Senior Residential Support Worker
* Working towards or willing to complete Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (Children and Young People)
* Passionate about supporting young people with emotional and behavioural needs
* Strong understanding of safeguarding, care planning, and trauma-informed practice
