Synergem is supporting a well-established business in Kirkstall seeking a confident, hands-on Credit Controller on a part-time basis (approx. 30 hours per week). This role suits someone who enjoys autonomy, structure and building strong working relationships across customers and internal teams.
The Opportunity
A key role within a busy finance function, responsible for maintaining healthy cashflow and ensuring customers meet agreed payment terms. The position offers variety, independence, and the chance to contribute to the smooth running of the accounts team.
Key Responsibilities
Managing all aspects of credit control for a designated ledger
Monitoring aged debt and proactively chasing outstanding payments
Setting up payment terms and reviewing customer credit limits
Processing payments and updating D365
Handling incoming queries relating to invoices and payments
Supporting the wider accounts function where required
Skills & Experience
Proven experience in a Credit Control role
Strong Excel skills; D365 experience advantageous
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Able to manage workload independently and work proactively
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
General accounts experience beneficial
