Your role
The Session Worker will help plan and run our new weekly youth club in Rendlesham during term times. The worker will work alongside our Lead youth worker to run the club along with a volunteer.
The club will run on Monday evenings. The junior club will run from 3.15 pm to 5 pm and then a senior club will run from 6.30 pm to 8 pm. We are looking for a session youth worker for each club, we will consider 1 person working at each club or 2 workers working at a club each.
Your Responsibilities
To help with general youth work such as building purposeful relationships, planning and facilitating activities with and for the young people. To help set up and get ready for club sessions and pack away at the end of the sessions.
You will need:
* a satisfactory DBS
* youth work experience preferably in a youth club setting
* a desire to work with and support local young people.

This is an excellent opportunity to work in one of Just42’s rural youth clubs as a session worker. We will offer support and training in safeguarding, first aid and food hygiene along with great youth work experience within a professional team. You will become part of a dynamic team of youth workers providing youth clubs in 5 locations around Woodbridge.
Start date early September. We will offer a meet the team session before opening the clubs in the new school year.
