The Payroll Administrator ANZ is responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of payroll business processes in accordance with the Service Level Agreements aligned with Kraft Heinz Australia and New Zealand business stakeholders.
The role will support the Senior Payroll Specialist in the administration of all related payroll functions, including payroll execution, accuracy, escalation management from internal stakeholders, and cross-functional collaboration on larger payroll opportunities.
This role can be located at our Freshwater Australia or Newmarket NZ locations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Customer Centric Operational Stability:
o Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives to guarantee employees are paid correctly and on time.
o Support end-to-end payroll processes and reporting.
o Coordinate with Kraft Heinz and GBS on SOX testing schedules and audits.
o Collaborate with the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) team to manage payroll queries.
o Assist in resolving exceptional cases related to payroll and post-payroll matters, including Holiday Act and Superannuation administration.
o Serve as the first point of escalation for payroll issues within Kraft Heinz.
2. Stakeholder Collaboration:
o Coordinate with HR and Finance departments for seamless payroll operations.
o Support payroll improvements in partnership with HR and Finance.
o Lead Service Performance Management reviews between the business and GBS and enhance reporting capabilities.
3. Process Improvement:
o Maintain updated process documentation reflecting current procedures in compliance with Kraft Heinz policies.
o Work with global process owners to understand root causes and address process gaps.
o Identify opportunities for continuous process improvements.
o Review and implement local policies related to Hire to Retire to standardize workflows within GBS.
o Assist the Senior Payroll Specialist and HR team to ensure compliance with collective and individual agreements.
About You
* Understanding of Hire to Retire, Payroll, and ANZ Payroll Legislation/processes.
* Minimum of 1 year of experience in Payroll or Payroll Compliance.
* Experience working within a Global Business Services model is preferred.
* Experience collaborating with BPO or offshore teams.
* Proven ability to support multiple stakeholders and priorities.
* Experience in continuous improvement initiatives.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Excellent relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.
* Certificate III/IV in Accounts Administration is preferred.
