Who we are

6 Months Fixed Term Contract

Hours: Week 1 Monday to Friday 07:00 to 14:30 & Week 2 Monday to Friday 12:30 to 20:00 (35 hours per week)

Grade: CM10

Location: Unit 2, Atholl Avenue, Senitel Court, Hillington Park, Glasgow, G52 4UA

Main Responsibilities

1. Achieve required percentage of shift/team average performance coins per hour, errors, losses and service failures.
2. Compliance with coin processing procedures.
3. Identification of coin discrepancies and appropriate reporting to Team Leader/Supervisor.
4. Process/prepare all allocated items as required by daily role including receipt and despatch.
5. Ensure work is processed in a suitable timescale to meet customer specific processing deadlines, checking that all paperwork/vouchers are present and correct.
6. Accurately prepare, sort and weigh all coin, by denomination and type including using sorting machines.
7. Other daily duties as delegated by Leadership team.
8. Maintain a clean and tidy work environment, adhering to the secure waste procedures and Health and Safety standards.
9. Long periods of standing and manual handling including operating machinery and lifting equipment.
10. Processing ATM Cassettes for customer packing.


Knowledge, skills and experience required

11. Ability to meet assigned targets/deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment
12. Ability to handle physical tasks, such as lifting and moving cash bags.
13. Potential long periods of standing.
14. Health and safety awareness.
15. Good attention to detail.
16. Strong numeracy skills and numeric keyboard skills.
17. Excellent timekeeping and attendance.
