French market leader in its sector is looking to hire a French-speaking National Sales Manager to prospect, develop and manage major national and regional accounts across the UK.
This role plays a key part in driving sales performance, strengthening brand presence, and increasing market share in line with the company’s strategic growth plans.
You will report directly to the Commercial Director based in France and work with a high level of autonomy to grow the UK market.
ROLE of the National Sales Manager:
Sales & Business Development
* Identify, prospect and secure national and regional buying groups
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and prospects
* Protect and grow turnover within your existing portfolio
* Identify new opportunities and implement effective sales strategies
* Organise and attend trade shows and industry events
* Engage directly with decision-makers and key stakeholders
* Strengthen brand visibility, including on social media
Reporting & Coordination
* Participate in weekly management calls
* Coordinate closely with Customer Service regarding field activity
* Maintain activity forecasts and weekly reports
* Use company tools (ERP, OneDrive, reporting systems, expense tools)
Market & Product Insight
* Develop strong product and market knowledge
* Provide market intelligence on competitors, trends and customer needs
* Proactively identify new opportunities and emerging trends
PROFILE:
* Fluent or min intermediate French with strong communication skills in English
* Proven field sales experience (Field Sales Manager / Territory Manager / Area Sales Manager / Sales Manager)
* Strong business development and account management skills
* Experience working with remote management and delivering against targets
* Autonomous, resilient and relationship-driven
* Comfortable travelling 4 days per week
SALARY & BENEFITS:
* £45,000 basic salary + KPI bonus
