Homeownership Manager needed in Grays, £266.16 per day PAYE – Reference: RQ1513267
1. To lead the operational management of home ownership services delivering a high quality, seamless Leasehold Management and Right to Buy service, taking direct responsibility for service delivery including all aspects of customer care.
2. Ensure that an efficient and effective Right to Buy service is provided in accordance with the provisions of Housing Act 1985 Part V
3. Analyse performance data to monitor and improve performance and identify areas of opportunity.
4. To ensure timely and accurate preparation of the service charge estimates and actuals within statutory timeframes.
5. To ensure timely and accurate preparation of the Ground Rent Demands within statutory timeframes.
6. To ensure statutory consultation under section 20 is carried out in line with legal thresholds and statutory timeframes, under the appropriate consultation schedule as necessary.
7. To ensure the timely billing for major works and service charges to ensure within statutory target.
8. To ensure a timely and professional service for handling of leaseholder enquiries, correspondence, member enquiries and complaints including investigating, responding to, resolving and learning from them and comply with Freedom of Information Regulations, Data Protection Regulations and the Information Sharing Protocol.
9. Assess and resolve a wide range of complex enquiries in accordance with legislation, processes, procedures and policies with the objective of providing an outstanding customer experience. This includes but is not limited to permissions, licences, subletting, assignments and complex lease and service charge enquiries.
10. Liaise with other departments, making sure any decisions on complex matters are resolved promptly within published standards.
11. To maintain specialist knowledge of ever changing leasehold management legislation and case law and ensure that Home Ownership services continue to be compliant with any legislative changes.
12. To manage the information provided to residents around leasehold management, right to buy, service charges and major work billing in line with leaseholder legislation, the Client and other local stakeholders.
This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
