Job Description
Recruiting for a reliable and enthusiastic Midday Assistant to join the team in an outstanding school based in the Upminster area. For the role you will provide a safe, calm and enjoyable environment for students with various Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs during their lunchtime break and play.
To start April 13th 2026 - Monday to Friday 2 hrs a day with additional hours being offered if and when needed - not guaranteed (Term time only)
Midday Support responsibilities:
* Supervise and support the students during their lunchtime period and play.
* Encourage positive behaviour, friendships and inclusive play.
* Support the students with dietary requirements and eating.
* Happy to assist with personal care if needed.
* Respond to minor accidents or incidents and report concerns to an appropriate member of staff.
* Follow the schools safeguarding, health & safety and behaviour policies at all times.
