Purpose of the Role
My client is seeking a Procurement Manager - to lead and manage the Indirects category, including soft FM, call monitoring, recruitment, IT, legal, uniforms, and more. This is a greenfield role, offering the opportunity to deliver significant value to the organisation through effective sourcing and contracting.
The role is focused on developing and executing category strategies that achieve best-in-class outcomes in terms of quality, cost, service proposition, and innovation. You will collaborate closely with key internal stakeholders to understand cost, price, service and performance baselines, define business requirements, evaluate supplier capabilities, and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, sustainability, and value creation across the category.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage the Indirects category, including soft FM, call monitoring, recruitment, IT, legal, uniforms, and others.
2. Review current contracts, supplier performance, spend data, and market benchmarks to inform the sourcing strategy and assess potential benefits.
3. Develop and execute category strategies through strategic sourcing and tender processes.
4. Prepare tender documentation for individual sub-categories (e.g., RFIs, RFPs, pricing matrixes, evaluation criteria, scorecards).
